Women’s breasts getting larger!

Christina Hendricks bust outThere's a great article at Australia's Sydney Morning Herald site about the epidemic of ever-larger breasts that is (delightfully) afflicting women throughout the western world. They use Christina Hendricks as an example:

Mad Men's Christina Hendricks, who was named the sexiest woman alive by Esquire magazine last year, said recently that she's finally being offered designer clothes that fit for red-carpet events: "They've been incredibly generous," she gushed, "making really beautiful things." In March, Hendricks had a Barbie doll made in her likeness and has blazed a trail for well-endowed women.

There's also a terrific picture of Christina Hendricks, looking for all the world as if her breasts are growing right out of her top!

As Giantess Tessa notes, "First our breasts starting growing a little, and then a lot. Now we’re getting taller, noticeably just within the last decade or so. No one seems to know why!" As long as those boobies keep getting bigger, I don't need to know why!

Gigantomastia!

I could not pass up this headline on Fox News: Woman Bedbound for 6 Months by Huge Breasts.

And it's everything it ought to be:

A Peruvian mother of four was trapped in her bed for six months because of her giant breasts.

Julia Manihuari's chest grew to a gigantic N cup after the birth of her third son seven years ago — leaving her unable to move,

Unfortunately she had radical reduction surgery and now can't even fill a C-cup. But who knows? Maybe it'll happen again if she has another kid.

Mystery of Mega Boobs

There's a scientist in the UK who apparently spends most of her time studying large breasts:

Dr Joanna Scurr, lecturer in bio-mechanics at the University of Portsmouth, said: “Breasts are getting bigger but it’s not just because we’re getting heavier.

We looked at 300 British women over four years and found an increase in the size of the average bosom, not just in women who are fat.”

So over time women's breasts are getting larger, but no one is quite sure why it's happening. If only we could duplicate (or quadruplicate) the phenomenon at will.

Birth Control Pill Experiment

Very possibly the most awesome thing ever done on Tumblr: a very small-breasted young woman is posting frequent photo updates to determine whether going on the pill can boost her bust. Apparently she began taking birth control pills at the end of May, and she's posted a photo every day to track her progress.

Check it out: Will They Grow?

Adam Carolla’s Podcast

Today on The Adam Carolla Podcast, Adam, Bald Bryan and real-life breast growth victim Teresa Strasser talked about this very blog. (Although they got the domain name wrong. Grr. It's BREAST-DASH-EXPANSION-DOT-NET!) The whole business of the breast enlargement fetish is treated as if it were somehow odd, when we all know it's perfectly normal. [Cough.]

Anyway, check out the podcast - the discussion is about 26 minutes in.

(This is all reader Jason's fault.)

Pregnancy Breast Growth

Pregnant radio personality Teresa Strasser is pregnant. Before the pregnancy she wore girly little A-cup bras, but those days are just a memory, now.

I just bought this Spanx bra in a 36C. I hate bras, but this one isn’t so bad, if you’re looking.

I was sitting having coffee with a friend when the front clasp came undone, apropos of nothing, and I just busted out of my brand new C cups. Maybe it was caused by the dangerous mixture of a robust inhale with a moment of slight slouching. Basically, I was sitting there stock-still. I don’t blame the Bra-llelujah, but my boobs are growing so fast they are actually testing the tensile strength of Spanx.

Strasser complains that at this rate of growth she'll soon be a D-cup, and whines about how unpleasant it is to have big boobs. Of course I have no sympathy whatsoever. Hopefully she'll wind up permanently stacked and learn to appreciate her new mammalian marvels. Anyway, read the whole thing. It's pretty hot, if you're into women writing first-person breast growth narratives. (Which you are, natch.)
